Our electronic component test lab delivers clear results, fast. Making this service as easy as possible for our customers is especially important to us. That is why we offer you a complete service in which we define an individual analysis plan for each of your components.
We know from personal experience how difficult it is to inspect electronic components for originality and newness. Which test do I need? How should I interpret the page-long test reports? We at Intertec Components – an independent distributor of electronic and electromechanical components – have been dealing with these issues for years. That's where the idea for SafeLab was born.
Managing Suppliers at Intertec requires constantly monitoring the goods being traded. Anna Maisch was responsible for managing suppliers there from 2016 to 2022. As a result, many tests passed through her hands, sparking her desire to enhance the service.
During a lunch break in the summer of 2022, Intertec CEO Christian Peter told Anna Maisch: “Then we'll do it ourselves and do it better. And not just for us, but for everyone in the market.” This is how the SafeLab project came about.
Anna Maisch was responsible for planning and implementing the project, while Robert Braun joined the team to provide technical expertise. A suitable building was found, and state-of-the-art laboratory equipment was purchased. The analysis report is the centerpiece and consumes the most man-hours. This report tells you right on the cover sheet whether the component has passed the test – and gives you a clear recommendation on what to do. This is exactly what we always had in mind.
